Dr. Joseph M. Shumar is a designated, certified Estate Planning Specialist by trade. He is a member of the National Association of Professional Agents. Specialties of his practice include retirement planning, estate planning, and wealth management with a concentration in capital preservation. In his practice, he focuses on minimizing taxes presently while maximizing future income potential.
Dr. Shumar holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, two Master’s Degrees, and a Doctoral Degree with specializations in Insurance and Risk Management. He holds certifications in Executive Management, Supervisory Development, Bond Analysis & Portfolio Management, and Credit Analysis. He is licensed in the State of Ohio in the lines of Life, Accident & Health, Property, and Casualty.
Serving clients since 1989, Dr. Shumar has also successfully mastered the Straight Line Sales Certification under Jordan Belfort. His philosophy is that short-term performance shall never exceed long-term planning. He is championing that life continues after the paycheck stops.
