JB grew up in Rochester, NY. After graduation from high school, he went into the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He was in the financial field for his entire career, having roles in Financial Accounting, Budget, Financial Services, Bank Liaison, Resource Advisory, and Personal Financial Advisory.
