Bill Biggs is a seasoned financial advisor and educator based in Denton, Texas, with decades of experience helping individuals, families, and businesses make sound financial decisions. He attended Texas A&M and then the University of North Texas where he graduated with a degree in business. After Bill obtained his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation he was recruited by EF Hutton and Company to become a member of their Financial Advisors team in a division specializing in comprehensive financial and tax planning for high-income clients and business owners.

Following the merger of EF Hutton with Shearson Lehman and American Express, Bill launched his own financial planning firm, Biggs and Biggs Financial Architects, which later became known as Affiliated Advisors, operating under Affiliated Advisory Services LLC. Today, Bill serves as the owner of Affiliated Financial Advisory Services LLC, a trusted business and tax consulting firm. He also leads Affiliated Financial Services Inc., doing business as Affiliated Mortgage Lending, where he serves as President and Broker. His professional credentials also include being licensed as a mortgage, real estate and an insurance broker, allowing him to serve clients through a truly comprehensive and holistic financial services model.

Educational Leadership

In addition to his consulting work, Bill has had a long and impactful career in financial education and community outreach. He served on the faculty of the Dallas Community College District, teaching his signature course, “You & Your Money,” at multiple campuses including El Centro, Brookhaven, Northlake, Mountain View, and Eastfield Colleges.

His commitment to public education extended into the corporate and nonprofit sectors, where he has conducted financial workshops for a wide variety of organizations, such as: – American Airlines – City Governments of Mesquite and Denton – Richardson Education Association and Richardson Secretarial Association – Denton Independent School District and Denton Parks & Recreation – Farmers & Merchants State Bank, Ohio Rubber, and Moore Business Forms – North Texas Adult Education Services – Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church and Faith Kingdom Church of God in Christ Bill has also been a guest lecturer at both Texas Woman’s University and his alma mater, the University of North Texas.
