Early in his career, he became Group Vice President and National Marketing Director for New York Life Insurance Company, and later served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of New York Long-Term Care Brokers, Ltd. During this time, Phil was instrumental in expanding national awareness of long-term care planning and product solutions.

While holding these executive roles, Phil developed a personal passion for working directly with families. His deep understanding of complex planning strategies and his desire to make a difference inspired him to establish The Optimus Group in 2006, specializing in retirement income planning, estate planning, and long-term care planning. In 2009, he expanded his vision by forming Optimus Wealth Management Group, Inc. to help clients manage and grow their retirement portfolios.
