With over 30 years of experience in retirement income planning and insurance, Michael Quarles is a seasoned financial professional dedicated to helping clients protect their assets, avoid costly retirement mistakes, and enjoy peace of mind in retirement. He holds a Series 65 license and is fully committed to acting in a fiduciary capacity—placing clients’ needs above all else.
Michael founded Financial Longevity Advisory, LLC with the vision of creating a client-first firm that goes beyond numbers. His retirement planning strategies address not only financial needs but also the emotional, family, and health-related aspects of aging. He is an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and is licensed to offer insurance in Missouri and Kansas.
Michael’s personal experiences have deeply shaped his approach to planning. He and his wife Marcy, a liver transplant recipient, actively support the American Liver Foundation and the National Kidney Foundation. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys spending time with their children and grandchildren—living the very kind of retirement lifestyle he helps others plan for.

Heather Herring brings a strong foundation in accounting and nearly a decade of experience in financial services to her role as Principal at Financial Longevity Advisory, LLC. Since joining the firm in 2021, Heather has quickly become known for her honest, transparent, and deeply empathetic approach to retirement planning.
She holds a Series 65 license, operating as a fiduciary, and is insurance-licensed in both Missouri and Kansas. Originally beginning her career with It’s Your Money in St. Joseph, MO, Heather found her calling in helping pre-retirees and retirees navigate retirement income, long-term care planning, Social Security optimization, and wealth preservation.
Inspired by her mother and driven by a passion for service, Heather connects with clients on a personal level, always taking the time to understand their goals, concerns, and family dynamics. A Chicago native who has lived in the Kansas City area for over 20 years, she balances her professional dedication with a vibrant family life that keeps her grounded and relatable.
