With a background rooted in discipline, service, and unwavering integrity, Victor Cuevas, founder of Victor 4 Advice, brings over three decades of real-world experience to every client relationship. His journey began with seven years of honorable service in the U.S. Army, where he served in elite units including the 82nd Airborne Division, 18th Airborne Corps, 518th MP Battalion, and the 9th Infantry Division, with two years stationed in Germany. All of his military tenure was spent in the Military Police, building the foundation for a career marked by loyalty, ethics, and protection.
In total, Victor Cuevas has 18 years of combined military and civilian law enforcement experience, having served in specialized roles in Patrol, SWAT, Narcotics, Burglary, Special Security Operations, and as a Field Training Officer. His transition into financial services was a natural extension of his commitment to serving and safeguarding others.
Victor began his financial services career with Prudential Life Insurance, quickly rising into management with SunTrust Bank in the mid-1990s. He was instrumental as part of the original leadership team that launched the In-Store Banking Division in Publix Supermarkets across the Atlanta metro area—a pioneering move in consumer banking access.
Over the years, Victor Cuevas of Victor 4 Advice has worked with numerous organizations to provide financial and estate planning services and employee benefits consulting. His specialized work has included:
- Retirement planning for teachers in 42 schools across DeKalb County, Georgia
- Consulting with employees of the Georgia State Department of Education
- Delivering benefits education to bank employees affiliated with the Community Bankers Association of Georgia
- Supporting auto dealership staff through the Automobile Dealer’s Association of Georgia
Later, as a financial planner with a top estate and financial planning firm, Victor met with 8 to 15 families weekly, providing guidance on insurance, estate planning, and financial strategies—always with the client’s best interest at heart.
Since 2005, Victor has been self-employed, establishing a deeply personal and values-based practice. In 2013, he relocated to Opelika, Alabama, where Victor 4 Advice continues to serve individuals and families with trust, transparency, and purpose.
