Rex A. Jackson, AIF®, owner and founder of IE Invests, represents small to midsize business owners,
individuals and entrepreneurs.

He entered the industry in July 1977 with Merrill Lynch, in Riverside, CA, where he built his practice to $57 million in assets under management (AUM). In May 1987, Mr. Jackson served as branch manager of the Upland, CA branch office. He was responsible for 12 – 14 financial consultants, a staff of 6 administrative assistants and $310 million in AUM. This tenure continued through May 1989. At this time he went back into production until October 1992. Rex founded his own company at this time, Inland Empire Investments.

Since Mr. Jackson is both an advisor and a business owner, he counsels from a business context. Clients frequently comment that they appreciate his approach to problem-solving and that his proposed solutions look distinctively different than one might see from more “generic” advisors.

Although Mr. Jackson’s practice consists of counseling clients on income and asset protection, wealth-building, investing, and fiduciary obligations. Mr. Jackson is sensitive to the needs of protecting and growing retirement income, estate planning, succession planning, wealth accumulation with tax advantages, asset protection, managing expenses, long-term care for individuals and groups, and 401k co-fiduciary oversight to help plan sponsors mitigate personal liability.

As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), Mr. Jackson is in the top 1.1 percentile of his peers for his certification as a co-fiduciary for investment portfolios. This includes the Department of Labor, Uniform Prudent Investors Act (UPIA), Municipal Professional Employers System (MPERS), ERISA, SB1550, State and/or Court Approved Trusts, Private Trusts (Special Needs Trusts).
